Arthur Turqueza, MFTI
Hi my name is Arthur Turqueza and I am a Marriage & Family Therapist Intern. I believe that if I do what I love and love what I do it will make for a fulfilling life. I joined the Willison Group because I am drawn to the idea of Solution Focused psychotherapy. Whatever situations that come up in your life, allow me to help you figure out where you go from here . . . . to thrive. I have worked in the field of addiction for a number of years and have also worked with clients challenged with self-esteem issues.
I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and was raised on the Monterey Peninsula. I am a graduate of Chapman University with a Master’s Degree in Psychology. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
I believe that each person is unique and my role is in helping you to thrive not just to survive. Therapy is all about taking the steps to begin this process of self -discovery and to overcome fear. Even in our darkest times when we feel that we have been hurt beyond repair, hope is available and this hope turns our wound into our medicine. Our healing occurs when we are able to share our story in a safe place. I believe that you will discover that the Willison Group is your safe place.
